John Dermer OAM continues to be a pioneering force in Australian ceramics, with a remarkable 57-year journey at the potter's wheel. His works grace collections worldwide, from international galleries to Parliament House in Canberra.

Each year on the last weekend of November, John holds a major exhibition at his studio gallery in Yackandandah every year. This year's exhibition showcases John's signature salt-glazing technique, firing ceramics at extreme temperatures to create unique, spectacular pieces. Each work tells a story of skill, patience, and artistic vision.
