John Dermer OAM continues to be a pioneering force in Australian ceramics, with a remarkable 57-year journey at the potter`s wheel. His works grace collections worldwide, from international galleries to Parliament House in Canberra.
Each year on the last weekend of November, John holds a major exhibition at his studio gallery in Yackandandah every year. This year`s exhibition showcases John`s signature salt-glazing technique, firing ceramics at extreme temperatures to create unique, spectacular pieces. Each work tells a story of skill, patience, and artistic vision.

This Saturday night, experience an intimate evening with two of Australia’s finest folk artists.
Award winning songwriters and multi-instrumentalists @lucywisemusic and @alana.wilkinson play contemporary folk songs that tell stories about love, growing up, self-acceptance and many wild and wonderful aspects of being human, drawing on folk, roots and pop music influences. They intermingle deep feelings with humour, blending their stunning vocals with intricate instrumental playing.
